DOK 2:
The Israelites journey makes me think of walking in the Sahara Desert. It took them 40 years to walk to Canaan and it just makes me think of walking around in the desert lost. It takes a long time to walk around for 40 years and it makes me think that they really wanted to get to Canaan. Its different to me though because I think they actually knew where they were going.
DOK 3:
One way I think that would have helped them get to the promised land is if they took less people. If they took less people, I don't think it would have taken them so long because someone could've gotten hurt which could've slowed them down or an animal could have gotten sick and then the people had to carry some stuff which can also take slower because if they carry too much stuff, then they get really tired.
Another way that could've helped them is if they took something to make a little shelter out of every now and then. It could've helped them rest better and if they rest at night then they could have a lot of energy to help them walk a long way the next day.
Another way is that they could have taken less stuff. If they took less stuff then they could have walked farther and be less tired. Also they could have taken longer to walk then rest for a bit then keep going.
